February 3, 2021: A group of concerned residents of Sandwich begin meeting every two weeks on Zoom to address issues of discrimination.
February-October 2021: Sandwich for All adopts its name, Mission Statement, Short and Long Term Goals, Group Norms, and focuses on building relationships with community stakeholders before launching publicly.
October 7, 2021: Sandwich Board of Selectmen vote unanimously to adopt a strong diversity, equity and inclusion statement submitted by Sandwich for All.
December 15, 2021: The Cape Cod Foundation and Sandwich for All sign Fiscal Sponsorship Agreement, giving Sandwich for All 501(c)(3) non-profit status.
January 7, 2022: The Fund for Sandwich awards Sandwich for All a $2,000 grant for start-up costs.
February 6, 2022: Sandwich for All provides Bystander Training to community members at First Church.
April 7, 2022: Members of Sandwich for All's Coordinating Committee attend School Committee meeting to advocate on behalf of black student who was indefinitely suspended after fighting with a white student who had racially bullied and threatened him since September.
April 15, 2022: The Fund for Sandwich approves a grant of $2,000 to cover expenses for Sandwich for All's upcoming event, "Let's Talk About...Building An Inclusive School Culture."
May 15, 2022: Sandwich for All hosts Sandwich's first community conversation about race, "Let's Talk About...Building An Inclusive School Culture." Panelists include the Police Chief, Superintendent of Schools, ADL expert on bias, SPS expert on restorative justice, School Committee Liaison to the DEI Advisory Committee, with Director of DEI for Duxbury Public Schools as moderator.
May 26, 2022: Town raises LGBTQIA+ flag at Town Hall for the first time to honor Pride month.
May 26, 2022: Sandwich Board of Selectmen vote unanimously to adopt Race Amity Proclamation submitted by Sandwich for All, making the second Sunday in June Race Amity Day.
June 5, 2022: Sandwich for All releases Public Service Announcement produced in partnership with Sandwich Community Television featuring newly elected members of town government reading the Race Amity Day proclamation.
June 15, 2022: In partnership with the Sandwich Public Library and Titcomb's books, Sandwich for All hosts talk by author Kate Clifford Larson on her book "Walk With Me: A Biography of Fannie Lou Hamer."
October 5, 2022: Sandwich for All provides Bystander Training to Sandwich Town Department Heads.
October 3, 2023: Sandwich for All initiates and facilitates conversation between Sandwich Public School administrators and leaders of the Mashpee Wampanoag tribe.
March 3, 2024: Sandwich for All launches new monthly calendar to spread the word about DEIB events and activities in Sandwich or offered by Sandwich organizations.
MARCH 7, 2024: Sandwich Public Schools secure a $50,000 Hate Crime Prevention grant initiated by and in partnership with Sandwich for All.
